Mulugu: The dates for the Medaram Sammakka-Saralamma Mini Jatara have been finalised.
The four-day festival will be held from February 17 to 20 next year, Sammakka-Saralamma Priests’ Association president Siddaboyin Jaggarao said on Sunday.
Speaking at a press conference near the temple, he said Saralamma’s ceremonial rituals would be held on February 17, followed by Sammakka’s rituals on February 18.
Devotees will be allowed to offer their vows on February 19, while the festival will conclude on February 20 with the deities’ return to the forest.
The Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara is held once every two years.
Following the conclusion of the main Jatara in 2026, priests announced the dates for the Mini Jatara in 2027.
The main Jatara was held from January 28 to 31 this year.
A large number of devotees are expected to visit Medaram during the four-day Mini Jatara from February 17 to 20.
