Vijayawada:YSRC state secretary Rahul Chakravarthy Reddy has accused the ruling alliance government of failing to fulfil its much-publicised “Super Six” promises even after completing two years in office.
In a statement, Rahul alleged that assurances made before the 2024 elections to ensure welfare schemes for every household and all sections of society have remained largely unimplemented.
The YSRC leader claimed that while the NDA alliance secured power in AP on the strength of these promises, it failed to fully implement even a single scheme, while pushing the state into a debt trap.
Rahul Chakravarthy criticised the state government for allegedly filing cases against opposition leaders and activists who question its performance. He said the administration is attempting to suppress democratic dissent, instead of answering public concerns over the status of the promised schemes.
Stating that governance should focus on honouring commitments and promoting development, the YSRC leader alleged that the government has prioritised political vendetta over public welfare.
Warning the government of public backlash, Rahul asserted that YSRC leaders are prepared to face cases or even imprisonment, but would continue their fight for the implementation of the promised “Super Six” promises.
