Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and RAdm Chandrasekharan Raghuram, VSM (Retd.), Chairman and Managing Director of Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), held wide-ranging discussions on a transformative agenda to unlock the state’s coastline as a major engine of economic growth.

The discussions focused on the proposed Greenfield shipyards at Machilipatnam and Dugarajapatnam, which are central to HSL’s long-term growth strategy. The projects aim to expand shipbuilding capacity, strengthen India’s shipbuilding capabilities, and enhance the country’s maritime self-reliance.
