Harvey Levin questions the FBI

Towards the end of the interview, Harvey also questioned the FBI and their plan to find Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy. Harvey explained that he is unable to understand the officials. He explained that the officials showed interest but now they feel the ransom emails are nothing but scam. He felt that if the FBI feels the emails are a scam, why are they wasting time in finding the identity of the sender. Sharing his frustration, TMZ founder said:

“If you’re asking me, how do I make sense of all of it? I’m having trouble. On the one hand, if they think this guy is just a jerk trying to scam money, why are they spending all this time…trying to figure out who this guy is? On the other hand, if he’s legit, why didn’t they pay the one Bitcoin he’s asking, which is around $60,000 to lead them to the kidnappers – and possibly Nancy Guthrie?”
