Pima County Sheriff’s Department has secret information about Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance

Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance has left her family members worried. With no suspect, the high-profile case seems far from being solved. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI are jointly trying to solve the case. But as the case shows very little progress, rumours are circulating online that Nancy’s disappearance will soon die down. In a recent interview with KOLD, Pima County Sheriff, Chris Nanos shared that the case is not getting cold as they have secret information about Nancy’s abduction. He also mentioned that the masked man, a prime suspect who tried to tamper with Nancy’s doorbell camera, will soon be found. In his words:

“It’s not done because we got to keep it secret. It’s done because we got to protect our case. I believe at some point in time, we will make an arrest in this case. And whoever that individual is, that individual will have a right to a fair and impartial trial.”

Nancy Guthrie’s missing probe grows intense

In a recent interview with People, Chris Nanos shared that the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI are analysing digital evidence, DNA, and tips to find out a suspect. He mentioned that there are thousands of pieces of video evidence, including Ring camera footage. He was quoted as saying:

“Right now, I think our focus is on the tips, the leads and the evidence we have in front of us. Digitally, the camera footage as well as biological, the DNA, and those types of things. My team, I’ve said all along, is going to solve this. I fully 100% believe that. There are thousands and thousands of videos out there from intersections and Ring cameras that we have to catalogue.”

Investigators are getting closer to the suspect responsible for Nancy’s disappearance. Chris shared that during the early stage of Nancy’s missing case, the homicide division got involved. DNA experts and investigators are jointly working and trying different methods to get some useful information from the DNA evidence found near Nancy’s home. He was quoted as saying:

“There’s way too much work to be done, that is ongoing, with some of the physical evidence we have. The reason that homicide was called is because they are the investigative unit in charge of missing person. Every day, our DNA labs are working with our investigators, and they’re coming up with different ideas and different thoughts of how to help them make this DNA work for us. How can we do more with what we have? And so that’s why I say it is – I think we’re getting closer. And we’re not going to give up on it just because it’s been 100 days.”

She added that they would never stop searching for her until she is found.
