Yami Gautam’s horror-comedy Nayyi Navelli has completed its opening weekend at the box office with a modest performance. The film witnessed some growth over the first three days.
According to reports by Sacnilk, Nayyi Navelli collected Rs 4.40 crore net in India on its third day, with 5,546 shows running across the country. With this, the film’s total domestic net collection stands at Rs 11.65 crore, while its India gross collection has reached Rs 13.88 crore.
The film also recorded earnings in international markets. On Day 3, it collected Rs 0.50 crore overseas, taking its total international gross to Rs 2 crore. The worldwide gross collection of Nayyi Navelli now stands at Rs 15.88 crore.
Although the film witnessed an upward trend over the weekend, the growth remained limited. Given its theatrical release across a considerable number of screens, the horror-comedy was expected to attract a stronger audience response. Despite this, the film has managed to secure a place among Yami Gautam’s top 10 opening weekend performers.
Directed by Balaji Mohan, Nayyi Navelli marks the filmmaker’s Bollywood directorial debut. Written by Himanshu Sharma and Divy Nidhi Sharma, the film was released in theatres on October 16, 2026.
Set against the backdrop of Meerut, the story revolves around Mohini, played by Yami Gautam, who enters a lively household as a newlywed bride. While her arrival brings unexpected changes to the family, her brother-in-law soon begins questioning whether there is something supernatural behind her unusual abilities.
Blending humour, horror and elements of regional mythology, the film explores family relationships while incorporating a Ram-Ravan-inspired conflict.
Apart from Yami Gautam, the film features Addinath M. Kothare, Mita Vashisht, Sunita Rajwar, Sonal Jha and Sushmita Mukherjee in important roles.
With its opening weekend now complete, all eyes are on how Nayyi Navelli performs during the weekdays and whether it can maintain its momentum at the box office.
