Melike Yeter died after she was crushed to death by a pin-setting machine

A NEWLY-ENGAGED bowling alley worker has died in a freak accident after being crushed by a pin-setting machine. It happened after the machine was struck, and Melike tried to fix the malfunction on October 21, 2026. She was rushed to Hitit University Erol Olçok Training and Research Hospital in Corum for treatment.

The horrific incident left everyone in shock. According to reports, doctors were planning to discharge her after just two and a half hours in A&E. However, things took a shocking turn as Melike started vomiting violently while she was under observation. As soon as the news of Melike’s accident reached her fiancé, he reached the hospital and pleaded with the doctors for help as her condition kept deteriorating. He even connected with doctors whom he knew personally.

It was later that they found out during a second examination that the crushing force of the machine ruptured Melike’s liver, which triggered massive internal bleeding. She was rushed to the ICU, but doctors were unable to save her life. Her post-mortem confirmed that she died due to internal hemorrhaging from liver injury.

More about Melike Yeter

The 28-year-old Melike Yeter got engaged to her partner three months before this horrible accident, which took her life. She was laid to rest after an emotional funeral service at the Aksemseddin Mosque. The owner of the children’s entertainment center has been arrested and is in remand over the tragic death.

The 34-year-old owner has been accused of forcing Melike to carry out the dangerous task of checking the pin machine, which was glitching, as it wasn’t part of her normal job duties. Not only that, but an investigation has been launched because the hospital failed to diagnose Melike’s condition, and they ignored the fatal injury during her initial check-up.

Netizens expressed their shock and mourned her demise. One user on Instagram wrote, “It’s so painful; may God have mercy on him and grant him paradise. May my Lord give patience to the bereaved family.” A second user penned, “Why did they send her home? She has to stay in the hospital for 24 hours.”

A third user commented, “They just want a blood test, and they are called home. Even if you are admitted to a private hospital, you either go to bed or go home. Of course, they will sell hotel services on the bed. But they don’t even care what’s wrong with you; they’re in a hurry. Trying to convince doctors. I hope this happens to everyone close to you; I’m just saying so. If you lack empathy, let it happen to your close one so that they can understand.”

We pray for Melike’s fiance and her family in these testing times.
