Hyderabad: Three electronic media journalists in Hyderabad and a cameraman received separate notices from National Investigation Agency (NIA) asking them to appear before it as a witness on April 22 at 10 am in Madhapur in connection with a case booked in November 2025.
The case was booked on November 26, 2025 under Section 152 of BNS and Section 13 and 39 of UA (P) Act- 1967. The NIA issued the notice under Section 160 of CrPc/179 BNS.
In the notice, NIA Hyderabad branch Deputy Superintendent of Police, Chief Investigating Officer, Kaki Rahul Teja, said, “It appears that you are acquainted with the facts and circumstances of the case and you are hereby directed to appear before the Chief Investigating Officer of the case on April 22, 2026 at 10 am at National Investigation Agency Hyderabad branch for enquiry/examination.”
