Liam and Noel Gallagher find themselves making the UK’s rich list for the first time following their monumental reunion tour last summer

There’s no maybe about it, Noel and Liam Gallagher have definitely made it onto the Sunday Times rich list. The Oasis brothers are now among some of the wealthiest people in the UK after their hugely successful reunion tour last year.

The Mancunian siblings join the likes of Paul McCartney and the Eavis family on the wealth list. This weekend sees the annual rich list announced, with 350 Brits taking their place.

Liam and Noel are said to have amassed a projected fortune of £375million following their comeback – just £25million behind Emily Eavis and her family, the founders and organisers of Glastonbury Festival, who are listed as having a £400million fortune.

It marks the first time the Gallaghers have made it onto The Sunday Times’ coveted list. The highest placed musician goes to Sir Paul McCartney. The Beatles legend has an estimated worth of £1.055billion.

Sir Elton Sir John, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ed Sheeran are also noted in the top 10. But it’s other figures within the industry who take the top spot.

Sir Leonard Blavatnik is coasting in first with a whopping £26.852bn. The wealthiest people overall in the UK are Sanjay and Dheeraj Hinduja and family, leaders of the global conglomerate the Hinduja Group.

The group, best known for their success in banking, energy, finance and property, have a wealth of around £38bn.

Oasis fans are eager for another run of concerts, with a number of stadium gigs speculated, as well as a Knebworth return. Last year they played a mammoth 41 dates around the world.

They launched their comeback in July 2025 to an adoring Cardiff crowd. Months later, the tour came to an end in São Paulo in November.

A documentary charting their return and their tour is set to be released in cinemas in September. The currently untitled film has been directed by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, and as well as being on the big screen will also be shown on streaming platform Disney+..

The feature documentary will chart Liam and Noel Gallagher’s triumphant reunion, which was one of the most anticipated rock ‘n’ roll comebacks of our time. The film is described as “an unapologetically uplifting account of arguably the biggest musical event of 2025”.

The announcement confirmed that the film will be shown in select IMAX® and cinemas worldwide for a limited theatrical engagement beginning on September 11. It is hoped that it will capture much of the experience and emotions of the band and their fans across the world.

Speaking of the production, director Steven Knight said: “I genuinely cannot wait for the world to see this film. I believe it captures the spirit and emotion of a global cultural moment and does justice to the wit and genius of two exceptional people. I wanted to tell the story of the brothers and the band, but just as important, the story of the fans whose lives the music has touched and sometimes changed forever.

“It is also the story of how music and songwriting can unite generations, cultures, countries and in a time of spite and division, give us all some reason to hope.”
