More than twenty years after sharing the screen in the 2003 romantic drama Andaaz, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Lara Dutta caught up with each other at the Wimbledon tennis tournament. The warm reunion between them quickly took fans down memory lane, sparking plenty of nostalgia online for the hit film, which had also marked Lara’s acting debut in Bollywood.

Priyanka shared a picture of their meeting on Instagram on Sunday. In the photo, she is seen smiling and hugging her former co-star. For the day out, Priyanka wore an elegant white halterneck dress, while Lara chose a blue outfit styled with a white shrug.

Posting the photo on her handle, Priyanka captioned it, “So good to see my girl.” Lara later reposted the exact same photograph on her own social media account, adding a playful caption that pointed to their long history together, which goes back to their early pageant days. She wrote, “26 years later, happy girls are still the…”

The unexpected reunion has brought back fond memories of Andaaz. Directed by Raj Kanwar and produced by Suneel Darshan, the film turned out to be a major commercial success. Over the years, it has remained popular among audiences for its memorable performances and hit music tracks.

Beyond her meeting with Lara, Priyanka attended the tournament as one of the prominent celebrity guests. She watched the women’s singles semi-final match between Karolina Muchova and Coco Gauff from the front row.

Since her husband, Nick Jonas, could not be there in person, Priyanka gave him a virtual courtside view of the match through a FaceTime call. She later shared that Nick is a longtime fan of Wimbledon and usually joins her for the tournament. However, he had to skip the trip this time around because he was in Los Angeles.

Both actors currently have major film projects lined up. Priyanka is set to make her return to Indian cinema after a gap of eight years with SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film, Varanasi. The movie, which is currently being shot, also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, and will release in April 2027. On the other hand, Lara will be seen next in Nitesh Tiwari’s epic Ramayana. The two-part project features an ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi, and Sunny Deol, and is set to release in theatres during Diwali 2026.
