Fans were in awe of just how ruthless the Los Angeles Rams looked against the New York Giants in their Monday Night Football clash.
The Rams obliterated the Giants 28-6, good enough for Sean McVay’s side to earn their first win of the season after a disappointing outing in Melbourne against the San Francisco 49ers.

The moment that changed the game was when Jaxson Dart suffered what is believed to be a sprained MCL injury that forced him out of the game.

Fans not impressed even after LA Rams ‘took care of business’ against New York Giants
Following the conclusion of the LA Rams’ Monday Night Football drubbing of the New York Giants, several fans took to social media to give their thoughts on the game.
Some fans praised the Rams for looking ruthless against the Giants after what had been a disappointing Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, but most fans were still not convinced by them.
One fan, clearly reeling from the result, asked, “D—, is every MNF game this season going to end with one team stomping a mudhole on their opponent?”

Another fan praised the Rams for their clinical performance: “The Rams took care of business against a Giants team that played without Dart for most of the game.”
However, a third wasn’t as impressed with the Rams’ dominance, noting, “Still not sure what to make of them, but the talent on this roster is off the charts.”
“Loser team stat padding against an injured/young Giants team. Shocker. They’re nowhere near ready to face Drew Lock,” wrote a fourth fan looking forward to a rematch of the NFC Championship Game with the Seattle Seahawks.
A fifth fan was equally unimpressed, claiming, “Only took them an embarrassing loss, and losing Jaxson Dart for the Rams to look good.”

Lastly, one Rams fan took a positive perspective on the blowout, noting, “Defense stepped up big in the fourth quarter to lock that down.”
Of course, in reality, the game was over far before the fourth quarter even began. Mathematically, the game was still open, but the Giants were too compromised to make any kind of comeback attempt.
After what had been a surprising Week 1 loss to the 49ers, head coach Sean McVay will be glad to see the Rams get in the win column, as their push to return to the Super Bowl this season truly begins.
