With the average price of a ticket to see Oasis more than £170, the band could pull in approaching a staggering half a billion pound when they hit the road next summer

Oasis fans are looking back in anger after ticket prices were announced for their 2027 tour – and the mind-blowing sum it could bring in with costs soaring since last summer.
Liam and Noel Gallagher says fans can “start the celebrations” as they finally issued all the details of their epic 38-date return next year – but while the brothers will be raising a class, some aren’t in the party mood after discovering how much it will cost.
The cheapest standing tickets are priced at £170, with the best value seats right at the back costing £73 before booking fees. The better seats at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium are an eye-watering £266 each with special packages priced at almost £600.
The averge price of a non VIP ticket works out at over £170. Last time, face-value tickets for Oasis Live ’25 started at £73 to £74 for basic seated tickets and cost around £135 to £151 for general admission standing. However, as many remember, demand drove face-value and resale rates much higher, to around £350.
Next year it is at between £20-£35 more expensive and some fans have hit out at “greed” this time around, with the band hitting the road after their mega payday last summer.
One worked out how much the group could make at every venue – if they charged just £40 a ticket.
Calculating the cash they could make on ticket sales alone before venue hire and production costs, the fan says more than £12million would be make at Celtic Park, £26,856,720 at the Etihad and more than £20million on their emotional Knebworth return.
Totalling up all the 11 venues, the group would still see a tidy £108,016,720 brought in with the 90s ticket prices.
The social media user went on to claim “With 80-90% of stadium shows revenue going to the artists, that would leave Noel and Liam with about £45,000,000 EACH.”
Others were quick to point out that the costs would be sky high and that the group wouldn’t see that amount while others pointed out the eye-watering real total with average prices at £170, while adding in thousands of VIP packages, could be fast approach half a billion pound.
The response hasn’t been positive, and one fumed: “With cheapest price for Slane looking like €200 a ticket they can get *****. Music for the working class my b*****….done.”
Another said: “In 2024 I paid £149.41 per ticket to see Oasis at Heaton Park… I guess the increase isn’t that much, but it sure feels like a rip-off to see them at Knebworth.”
A third said: “They are the ones claiming to be down to earth, common men, then pricing average fans out of their shows.”
One joker wrote: “Fair play to.#oasis for not allowing some tickets to be sold on dynamic pricing… and instead just charging every ticket at the highest price #oasislive“
But other defended the cost, pointing out: “Even the crap bands today are charging €170 and they’re all rubbish. For biggest and best band in the World Oasis €170 is great value , Oasis could’ve Sold Out Worldwide at 2K a ticket tbf.”
The tour will start in May 2027 at Glasgow’s Celtic Park before a huge 11-night Etihad Stadium residency back on home turf in Manchester across June. The tour will then move out across Europe, on to the USA before a huge return to Knebworth to round out the tour in September 2027 with four gigs.
