Chase Elliott led 87 of 267 laps (more than any other driver) to win Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. He beat Denny Hamlin and Alex Bowman in a four-lap sprint to the checkered flag.
11 different drivers led laps during the race, which featured several incidents as well. In the end, 20 cars finished on the lead lap and four drivers (Heim, Gibbs, Logano, Bell) recorded DNFs.
After locking out the front row in qualifying, the Spire duo of Daniel Suarez and Carson Hocevar also secured a double top ten for the team in sixth and seventh, respectively.
Erik Jones won Stage 1 after staying out, while Elliott won Stage 2.
