The second half of the 2026 Ohio high school football regular season starts Friday, Sept. 24.

It’s not often at this point in a season a game between an undefeated team and a team that just earned its first victory can be considered a big game. But that’s where we are as Walsh Jesuit (4-0), the top-ranked team in our latest power rankings and coming off a bye, will host rival Archbishop Hoban (1-4 against a brutal schedule) — a 19-14 winner over Cardinal Gibbons (N.C.) last week — in a key Week 6 game.

Wadsworth (5-0), Woodridge (5-0) and Northwest (5-0) also are undefeated entering Friday’s games.
