HYDERABAD: Osmania University (OU) has released the admission schedule for special education courses for the 2026-27 academic year.
OU said advertisements for admissions will be issued between May 25 and May 30, while sale and receipt of applications will continue from June 1 to July 6. Applications with a late fee of Rs 200 will be accepted till July 15, and the final date for submission to the directorate of admissions is July 20.
OU said entrance examinations are tentatively scheduled for the last week of July, while counselling is expected to be conducted in the first week of August depending on the declaration of qualifying examination results in Telangana.
The admissions will cover courses offered by various institutions, including national institute for the empowerment of persons with intellectual disabilities (NIEPID), Ali Yavar Jung national institute of speech and hearing disabilities (AYJNISHD), Helen Keller’s institute, Swayamkrushi, Thakur Hari Prasad institute, Padmanayaka institute, Maa institute, Sahara institute, Andhra Mahila Sabha college of education and Ashray-Akruti institute.
