The backlash also spilt over to his wife, Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra. When Chopra shared a Story on Instagram that had nothing to do with politics, people still reacted to it with comments about Chadha’s political shift.

In her Instagram Story, Parineeti simply reposted an update announcing her association as the brand ambassador of a Gurgaon-based parenting app.
Despite the post having no political reference, several users reacted negatively. One user wrote “Unfollow,” while another responded with “thumbs down” emojis. A third comment read “Darpok” (coward).
“Kya acting ki hai aapke husband ne,” read yet another comment.
Yet another social media user said, “Hate both of you.”
One even said that she cemented her place in Dhurandhar 3 because of her husband’s political move.
Parineeti Chopra Loses Followers
According to a social media tracking website, Parineeti Chopra reportedly lost more than 4,600 Instagram followers on April 24.
It remains unclear whether the drop in followers was directly linked to the online reactions surrounding Raghav Chadha’s political development.

Recently, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha appeared in an interview with journalist Rajat Sharma. During the conversation, the actor admitted that she does not fully understand politics. She also shared that the couple usually avoids discussing politics or films at home.
Raghav Chadha added that it would entirely be Parineeti’s decision if she ever wanted to enter politics. However, he emphasised that everyone should focus on their own field, saying, “Jiska kaam usi ko sajhe, aur kare to ullu lage.”
