Paris Jackson, the daughter of Michael Jackson, has filed a petition asking to transfer USD 600 million from her father, Michael Jackson’s estate, into a family trust. She accused the executor of taking control of the rockstar’s children’s inheritance. She filed the petition on October 29, 2026, and alleged that John Branca has kept a tight grip on it.

Paris, in her petition, alleged that John Branca has been maintaining an iron grip over her and her brothers, Prince and Bigi’s inheritance despite the estate generating billions since Michael Jackson’s passing. She also alleged that the funds should have been transferred to Michael Jackson’s family trust years ago and added that there is no valid reason for the delay.
Paris also alleged that Branca has even determined the amount the siblings receive instead of granting them access to the money as specified in their father’s will. As per the petition, Michael wanted his children to get his income from their trusts at age 21. But the arrangement wasn’t implemented, and the siblings received smaller payments determined by the executor, Branca.
Paris claimed Branca’s control over the payment made her reluctant to file his decision. However, she began questioning the estate’s management last year, as she found out about non-contractual gifts to colleagues. In response, Branca launched an aggressive legal action, public criticism, and reduced payments.
According to reports, Michael Jackson’s estate generated billions, and it has sufficient funds to fulfill Paris’ request.
