Patriots Owner Robert Kraft Allegedly Tried To Stop Mike Vrabel And Dianna Russini Controversy

Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini’s photos from an adults-only resort in Arizona turned out to be one of the much-talked-about topics of the present time. The duo was photographed together, and they were seen having a good time at the resort, which instantly brought a cheating angle, given that both of them are married to their respective partners and have kids.

The incident kept being intensified, and a recent report suggested that the New England Patriots even tried to stop the controversy by the wish to ‘kill the story’ which was released through the NY Post’s Page Six.

Recently, a report by In Touch Weekly revealed that when the photos of Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini were to be published, it was Patriots owner Robert Kraft who intervened and asked people close to him to convince the NY Post to ‘kill the story’.

The same report also revealed that the NY Post had given Mike Vrabel enough time to respond, lengthy enough, which is considered the industry standard. However, it is reported that the given timeframe was used by Kraft to put pressure on the reporter and the newspaper. As per the report, a crisis strategist made the call but was unsuccessful in killing off the story. As per the report:

“Robert Kraft intervened and had his honchos pressure The Post before they published and tried to kill the story. The Post gave Vrabel a longer time to respond than what is considered industry norms, and Kraft took advantage of that extended timeframe to put pressure on the reporter and the newspaper. A notorious crisis strategist made the call but was unsuccessful in neutering the story.”

Page Six released the photos of Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini, and both of them, along with the executives of The Athletics, the previous company of the NFL reporter ‘scrambled’ to respond. On the other hand, the NY Post reportedly was open to changing the story and even not running it if the duo could have provided evidence that they were with their separate friend groups in Arizona.

Well, this is just through the sources that these stories were shared, and no one has commented on the same yet. For the unversed, when the photos were released, Dianna and Mike both responded respectively with the coach saying that the photos were innocent, thereby the buzz is simply laughable. Dianna said that there were other people with them, but those people were not captured, while mentioning that it’s natural for an NFL reporter to interview the source, away from the venue and the stadium.

What happened later is not unknown to anyone, for that matter. Theories were out there that Dianna’s husband might have hired a P.I. to track her, and several reason for the possibility was given. Well, these all were just assumptions and were not confirmed. The Athletics was running an investigation on Dianna while initially supporting her. However, in the middle, Dianna dropped a resignation letter and mentioned that while she’s grateful, she wouldn’t continue as she had no wish for a situation to define her career.
