Vijayawada: Jana Sena president and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Sunday announced the formation of ‘Sena Galam’, a committee aimed at amplifying voices that reflect the aspirations of Gen Z youth while upholding constitutional values and promoting inclusive political discourse.

The announcement was made during a meeting he held with senior party leaders at the Jana Sena central office in Mangalagiri. The meeting focused on organisational and political issues, with Pawan Kalyan outlining the party’s future direction.

Pawan Kalyan said the committee would work to strengthen social harmony, encourage responsible politics and ensure respect for all sections of society. He directed members of the committee to remain committed to constitutional principles and contribute to safeguarding national unity and integrity.

The Jana Sena chief criticised “caste-based political responses and divisive practices that seek to pit one community against another.” Rejecting such approaches, he said political criticism should not be linked to caste, religion or social groups and asserted that Jana Sena would pursue issue-based and progressive politics.

Pawan Kalyan expressed concern over attempts by some political actors to associate the mistakes of individuals with entire communities, saying such practices fueled social tensions and hatred. He also observed that some people hide behind their caste, religious or regional identities to escape accountability.

This trend is increasingly being opposed by the younger generation, he said.

Reiterating the party’s stand, Pawan said individual actions should be judged individually and not used to target entire communities.
