The recent comments about the Telugu film industry have clearly not gone down well with everyone. Now, young actress Payal Rajput, who shot to fame with RX 100, has joined the debate, making her support for Tollywood loud and clear.
Payal expressed pride in being associated with Telugu cinema and said the industry had played a major role in shaping her career. She credited Tollywood for giving her recognition, opportunities and the position she enjoys today. Her message was clear: she would always stand by an industry that stood by her.
Going a step further, the actress questioned the attitude of those who build their careers with the support of an industry and later turn critical of it. She made it clear that she would never forget the industry that gave her a platform and stood by her.
With the debate surrounding Radhika Apte’s comments continuing to gather momentum, Payal’s strong statement has added another twist to the controversy.
Though she did not mention Radhika by name, her message has been seen as a clear show of support for Tollywood.
