Ram Charan’s recent outing, Peddi, has been trending across all social media platforms. Film buffs are actively searching for its digital release.
The digital rights for the sports-based action drama have been acquired by Netflix, and it is expected to premiere on the platform by mid-July. That said, the makers have not yet revealed an official release date for the OTT premiere, as Peddi will make its debut on streaming only after completing a full theatrical run.
This project marks a new collaboration for Ram Charan and director Buchi Babu Sana. The film collected Rs 138 crore on its opening day, as per a statement by Vriddhi Cinemas.
On its second day, it held its ground and attracted huge crowds in some markets, presenter Y Ravi Shankar said.
Peddi features a star-studded cast including Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Ravi Kishan, and Boman Irani, among others. Shruti Haasan makes a special appearance in a song alongside Charan, while AR Rahman composed the music for the movie.
