In her post, Keely shared a quote from Lexy Florentina, who is a trauma-trained somatic experiencing practitioner. It urged people to look at their body not just for its curves and textures but for all the moments that it has given them.
For instance, one should look at their arms as something that has held people whom they love. And their legs as something that has carried them on long journeys. The quote can be read as:
“Look at your body. Look at those arms that have held people they love…Look at those legs that have carried you through your longest journeys. Look at your feet that have held you up on your hardest days… Look at your body… not for the curves or texture but for the moments that this body has given you. Look at your body. Now what do you see?”
Fans in the comments section could not help but agree with Keely’s post. One user wrote, “You look great! Thank you for reminding us to appreciate our health, our body, and everything we have accomplished.” Another wrote, “This woman is a natural beauty; just look at her over the years. Anyone who deliberately criticizes her is nothing but jealous.”

It is worth noting that since then, Keely has said to have lost over 100lbs. But it was not by listening to those fat-shaming her; as in a previous interview, she confessed that she is not someone who shies away from her curves or hides in baggy clothing.
