Pink isn’t about to let an unflattering paparazzi photo ruin her day.
In fact, the pop icon is downright proud of the candid snapshot that recently got people talking.
The 47-year-old addressed the attention surrounding a makeup-free photograph of herself during a stroll through New York City, making it clear that she isn’t particularly bothered by what people think of her appearance.

(Rumor has it she moved to Manhattan to replace Kelly Clarkson on her talk show, but those reports remain unconfirmed.)
Pink was photographed on Monday wearing a purple sweatsuit and a brown-and-white patterned scarf tied around her head. She also had her small dog tucked into a cream-colored crossbody carrier.
The casual outing might not have been the sort of red-carpet moment celebrities typically hope to have captured by photographers. But Pink apparently had a very different interpretation of the resulting images.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, she shared the photograph and delivered a sarcastic response to the attention it had received.
“Best photo award,” she wrote (via People), adding, “What is everyone talking about? I look HOT.”
She continued the joke by pretending that the entire look had been carefully planned.
“I woke up and said, ‘I am going to be serving LOOKS today.’ And I did that.”
Pink included several laughing emojis alongside her response, making it clear she wasn’t taking the online chatter particularly seriously.
And she wasn’t finished.
In a subsequent Instagram Story, the singer shared a close-up selfie showing her smiling at the camera.
“I look even better today,” she added.
The response also fits with Pink’s long-standing attitude toward aging and the pressure celebrities face to maintain a particular appearance. She has previously been candid about her reluctance to pursue cosmetic procedures, making it clear that she has little interest in trying to stop the clock.
In a 2020 post on X, Pink wrote a “note to self” about noticing the changes that come with getting older. She acknowledged seeing lines on her face and changes to her nose, but also found reasons to appreciate those differences.
“Your nose looks like your kids, and your face wrinkles where you laugh,” she wrote, adding a blunt reminder that smoking had played a role in some of the changes.
She also said she could not get behind Botox or going under the knife. Watching people on television whose faces no longer moved when they expressed emotion only reinforced that decision.
“I want my children to know what I look like when I’m angry,” she explained.
Pink has also said she has never really depended on her looks, arguing that her talent and individuality matter more to her than her face.
In other words, a makeup-free walk around New York isn’t exactly going to send her running for a cosmetic consultation. If anything, Pink seems perfectly happy to keep aging on her own terms — paparazzi photos and all.
