HYDERABAD: The first phase of TG Polycet-2026 admissions counselling entered its final stage, with 31,714 candidates booking slots for certificate verification as of May 31. Of them, 21,639 candidates had completed certificate verification, while 11,226 had exercised their web options.
The certificate verification process will continue till June 1, while candidates can exercise web options till June 3. Provisional seat allotments will be announced on or before June 6.
A. Sridevasena, commissioner of technical education and convener of TG Polycet-2026 admissions, said candidates who complete slot booking and certificate verification early would have more time to exercise their options. The highest number of options exercised by a candidate so far is 439.
Candidates and parents have been advised to pay the processing fee and book slots without delay. They have also been encouraged to exercise as many options as possible to improve their chances of securing a seat.
