Pranit More started his journey as a stand-up comedian years ago when he participated in a competition called Open Mic Maverick, organised by the Canvas Laugh Club. Pranit later expanded his career to YouTube and other platforms. Sources have claimed that he reportedly earns somewhere between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 1 lakh for each of his shows. Notably, Pranit also mentioned in a video in 2024 that he was earning Rs. 50,000 from his shows.

Pranit participated in the 19th season of the controversial Hindi reality show, Bigg Boss, in 2025. Notably, he allegedly received Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 2 lakh per week, and his total earnings for 14 weeks summed up to Rs. 14 lakhs to Rs. 28 lakhs. However, the makers of the show or Pranit himself have never confirmed anything from their side about the mentioned figures.

Pranit More’s net worth is estimated to be around Rs. 4 crores and Rs. 8 crores. While he earns a lot from his standup shows, Pranit has also gone on some tours that have contributed to his wealth. Pranit More has recently landed himself in legal trouble

While the firing of Himanshu Jangra was expected to end the controversy, the matter has taken a different turn now. On June 11, 2026, an FIR was filed against Pranit More and a few more people by the Maharashtra Cybercrime police. The legal problem is related to the social media content that has been creating headlines over the last few days.

Apart from Pranit More, others who have been charged in the case also include Himanshu Jangra and Dr. Sejal Pawar. The complaint was filed after Sejal’s videos started trending. Notably, she was spotted making some inappropriate comments about deceased individuals.

The cases, including the Rs. 370 Biryani remark, have also angered the National Commission for Women. Vijaya Rahatkar, the chairperson of the organisation, approached the DGP of Haryana for immediate action on the matter. The NCW is now seeking an ATR within a week, along with information related to the status of the FIR under the provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and other laws.

On the other hand, NCW has summoned Pranit and Himanshu for a hearing on June 22, 2026. As of this writing, Pranit has maintained silence on the case, and further updates are awaited.
