Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared an emotional post on her father, Dr Ashok Chopra’s, death anniversary. The global star took to social media to give a glimpse of some rare moments with her father. The first photo is a candid moment of the father and daughter dancing carefree in their house. Another photo takes us back to the actress’ childhood days, where her father is holding a baby Priyanka in his arms.

There are a couple of more photos of the actress’ heartfelt moments with her dad, him with Siddharth Chopra and Manuj Vyas, and another photo of Ashok Chopra from his Army days.

Priyanka Chopra was extremely close to her father, the late Ashok Chopra. The actress has many times opened up about her bond with him. Once, she recalled a memory from her teenage days and remembered how, growing up, her dad would ask her not to wear tight clothes, and the two would then have a ‘big clash of egos.’
Priyanka spent four years of high school in the US. She recalled, “I’d left as a 12-year-old flat-chested, curly-haired kid and I came back as a 16-year-old almost-woman. My dad was really shaken up by that. He didn’t know what to do with me for the first couple of weeks.”
