Police turn Galaxy apartments into fortress
Mumbai Police have tightened security outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments residence in Bandra.
According to police investigations, Salman was the shooters’ original target. Three accused reportedly conducted a recce of his Bandra residence but abandoned the plan due to the round-the-clock police presence and the Y+ security cover provided to the actor.
Following the Tiger incident, Mumbai Police deployed additional armed personnel in bulletproof jackets, restricted public movement around Galaxy Apartments and established vehicle checkpoints. Vigilance has also been stepped up near filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence!
Even other actors’ spottings have almost stopped now, with the superstars avoiding public appearances for the same security reason.
