HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) fined Fore Fathers Pub in Jubilee Hills ₹20,000 for misusing drinking water. It also disconnected the pub’s water connection and stopped commercial tanker supplies.
The action followed a public complaint and a field inspection by board officials, who found violations involving drinking water use.
The board warned of strict action against establishments and individuals found wasting or misusing drinking water.
Officials urged the public to report violations by sharing photographs or videos via WhatsApp at 99499 30003 or calling the helpline 155313. Complainants’ identities would be kept confidential.
