Fans of the Pussycat Dolls have expressed their delight after spotting a familiar face beaming from ear to ear in the crowd during their performance on Tuesday (October 13)
Pussycat Dolls fans were left thrilled after spotting a familiar face during their show at The O2. Although Nicole Scherzinger had suffered a painful injury in an horrific accident earlier in the tour, it didn’t stop her from throwing all the moves at the group’s London gig.
With the show going on, the singer was also joined by bandmates Ashley Roberts and Kimberley Wyatt to wrap up the UK leg of their PCD Forever Tour in London on Tuesday (October 13). Their 20-night stint, which kicked off in Copenhagen in September, marks the 20th anniversary of the group’s debut album PCD, that produced chart-topping bangers including Don’t Cha and Stickwitu.
Music fan Berni Sounds posted footage from The O2 to Instagram, drawing attention to one particular man who couldn’t stop smiling in the crowd – just as Nicole was being hoisted into the air by four backing dancers.
“The way Nicole Scherzinger’s fiancé (Thom Evans) was supporting her during The PCD Forever Tour in London,” Berni enthused in the caption accompanying his video.
Thom, a former Scotland rugby union international, was beaming from ear to ear at the exact moment Nicole belted out the lyrics from Baby Love: “(Oh boy, oh boy) You’re my every, everything that I could ever dream of.”

Reacting to the clip, one Pussycat Dolls fans shared: “He’s getting goosebumps looking at her.”
A second added: “That’s why she was keep going into left hand side of the stage and looking in the crowd, I wondered who is she looking at.” A third gushed: “He’s living his best life!” While a fourth Instagram user remarked: “He’s the best for Nicole.”
And a fifth lucky fan who got to meet Thom at the venue revealed: “He was in the bar before and we got a selfie with him!”
The original Pussycat Dolls line-up also featured Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta and Carmit Bachar, though none of them have been part of this reunion. Carmit Bachar departed the group back in 2008, while the remaining members took a hiatus in 2009, with the split made official in 2010.
Across the UK, PCD Forever tickets flew off the shelves in record time – though the same couldn’t be said elsewhere in the world. The group were compelled to axe all but one of their North American dates, confirming they would solely perform at a Pride event in Los Angeles.
How did Nicole and Thom meet?
Nicole first met Thom when he took part in Celebrity X Factor in 2019. The 41-year-old rugby player revealed how he didn’t think he had a chance with the songstress at first, but plucked up the courage to ask her out and the rest is history.
He credits his grandmother with helping him, as her motto was always ‘if you don’t ask, you don’t get’. Thom said there was an instant attraction between himself and Nicole, and their relationship quickly went from strength to strength.
The gorgeous couple announced their engagement in the summer of 2023 after Thom got down on one knee during a trip to Vila Nova de Gaia in Portugal. Nicole shared a picture of the couple on a beach with her hands clasped around her mouth in shock as Thom held out a ring box.
Thanking her fans for their well wishes at the time, Nicole said: “Thank you so much for all your beautiful birthday wishes and kind messages from our engagement. What a week… still on [cloud] 9.”
