1. Spiv is a consistent performer that finished fourth in his first two starts back from a spell before breaking through to win a maiden in good style at Newcastle when racing on the speed and proving too good. He should take plenty of beating again. 4. Flying Grey was a winner at this track when resuming from a spell and followed that up with a last start fourth at Hawkesbury. 7. Cha Cha Cha is capable at best and could sneak into the minor money. 6. Mamma Mia was a maiden winner at Goulburn when resuming and has been down the track in tougher grade in two subsequent starts.
How to play it: Spiv WIN.

Race 3

11. Weekend Market has had three runs back from a spell and followed a first-up second at this track with a fourth here before finishing second again at Hawkesbury. She’s knocking on the door for a win. 5. Onmalone is resuming on the back of two solid Rosehill trials and has been placed in four of eight starts. Expect a bold showing from the good gate. 12. Darn Saga is on debut and has been fitted for this with a number of trials. 2. Fimiston is on debut after two trials and a forward showing looks to be on the cards.
How to play it: Weekend Market WIN.

Race 4

8. Thyme To Go took on Saturday city grade last time out and ran well when fourth to Friendly Fire. That was her first run back from a spell and she should be better for the run. This looks made to order. 1. Declan was placed in each of his first two starts earlier in the year and resumes here after two trials. He has a wide gate to overcome. 6. Tsardeal resumed with a second at Goulburn and looks to have the talent to run well here. 12. Pistoleer is on debut after two good trials and has the ability to run well.
