Maverick Telugu filmmaker S S Rajamouli has taken a short break from the shooting of his upcoming project, Varanasi, to travel to the United States.
Rajamouli is attending a private family function along with his family members.
Despite the brief hiatus, the highly anticipated film — starring Mahesh Babu in the lead alongside Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran remains well on track.
The filmmaker had earlier revealed that nearly 80 per cent of the shoot is complete, with the team aiming to wrap up the remaining portions by September-October 2026.
