Jailer 2 promotions with a teaser and trailer have triggered curiosity of fans and general audience. However in the trailer netizens spotted that Rajinikanth’s finger went missing and this resulted in intense discussions.
While some blame the poor VFX and CGI for the goof up, others say the missing finger maybe connected to the story. Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal and Jackie Shroff are set to reprise their roles, while Vidya Balan makes her debut in the franchise as Kantha. SJ Suryah is also seen in the trailer, while Yogi Babu, Jaffer Sadiq and VTV Ganesh feature in supporting roles.
Super Star Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Jailer 2 directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar is racing for a grand release on 15 October 2026.
Rajinikanth had delivered duds like Coolie and Laal Salaam in Telugu states and looking to bounce back with Jailer 2.
