Rapper, Latto Gets Emotional About Motherhood, Reveals Dealing With ‘Anxiety’ Before Child’s Birth

The rapper, Latto is currently on cloud nine after she welcomed her first child- a daughter with her longtime partner, 21 Savage, a few days ago. It was on May 19, 2026, when the rapper took to her Instagram handle to confirm the birth of their first child. Amid that, a while ago, Latto recently had an interview, during which she recalled her emotional journey, including anxiety that she faced before and during child birth.

Was Latto doubtful about having a child before their daughter’s birth?

Recently, Latto sat down for a candid conversation, during which she opened up about her pregnancy and how she dealt with anxiety before giving birth to a little angle. She shared that initially she was also doubtful about the child before the birth; however, she is now glad that she took the decision of having the child. Latto was quoted as saying:

“There were tears, and anxiety was through the roof. It’s what I wanted, but I was just like, ‘Wait, this real life, like am I really ready?’ But ultimately, obviously had her and I’m glad I made the decision to do it.”

Latto confirmed the birth of their child

On May 19, 2026, rapper, Latto took to her Instagram handle to share a heartfelt video. Even though she did not directly confirm the child’s birth, fans were convinced that the rapper had welcomed a child with her longtime partner, 21 Savage. For those who missed it, in the video, the rapper revisited her entire pregnancy journey from 5 weeks to delivering the child. It also included some lovey-dovey moments of the couple.

Soon after the video went viral, a user commented, “Auntie league baby is hereeeee.” Another user penned, “So proud of you big mama! album about to go platinum!!” A third user wrote, “Congratulations big mama.” A fourth user commented, “She finally showed us 21.” A user also stated, “You can’t help but be joyful when new life is brought to this world. Nothing but blessings on your journey!” A user, showering love on Latto penned, “Awww her crying when she said I don’t want to ever leave my baby. That mama instinct is there , we all know that feeling. So very happy for you mamas.”

For those who do not know, in March 2026, Latto revealed the cover for her album named Big Mama. In the same, she was seen holding a baby cheetah as she proudly flaunted her baby bump, confirming that she and her partner were expecting a child. She also released the song, Business & Personal, through which she gave multiple hints about the pregnancy. The best part of the music video is when 21 Savage places his hand on Latto’s belly.

Latto and 21 Savage have been in a relationship since a long time; however, they kept their romance private. If reports are to be believed, the couple first sparked dating rumours in 2021, when they shared photos from similar locations. Some eagle-eyed fans noticed that they went on multiple vacations together. As per reports, the couple shared an age difference of around six years. Despite appearing multiple times, Latto and 21 Savage denied being in a relationship in all their interviews. It was in 2025, when Latto subtly confirmed her relationship with 21 Savage.
