Where to Watch Real Betis v Barcelona: TV and online streams

In the UK, you can watch it on Premier Sports and stream on the Premier Sports Player.

Preview for Real Betis v Barcelona

Ten games, 10 wins. Barcelona’s start to the season has been flawless, but Saturday evening’s trip to Seville could be the biggest test of Hansi Flick’s perfect run so far. Real Betis are third in La Liga, flying in the Champions League, and haven’t lost a league game at La Cartuja for more than 10 months.

Barca were rampant again in midweek. Galatasaray took the lead in Istanbul through Aleksey Batrakov’s deflected strike, but João Cancelo equalised before the break and Lamine Yamal took over in the second half. He set up Fermín López and Anthony Gordon, and Karim Adeyemi completed a 4-1 win that put Barca top of the Champions League standings with nine goals in two games.

Domestically, the numbers are staggering. Eight wins from eight, 34 goals scored, and a five-point lead over Atlético Madrid at the top. With PSG away on Tuesday and the Clásico on October 25, it’s a huge week ahead for Flick.

Betis, though, might just be the form side in Spain behind Barca. Manuel Pellegrini’s team have taken 19 points from eight games, they hammered Osasuna 5-2 last weekend, and they’ve already beaten Real Madrid this season. In Europe, they’ve won both of their Champions League games 3-2, away at Lille and then at home to Porto in midweek.

La Cartuja has become a fortress. Betis haven’t lost a league game at their temporary home since December 6 2025, and that defeat came against Barcelona. Antony gave Betis an early lead that night, but Ferran Torres scored a hat-trick and Roony Bardghji and Lamine Yamal also scored as Barca netted five in less than an hour on their way to a 5-3 win.

Team News for Real Betis v Barcelona

Raphinha trained with the rest of the squad on Thursday for the first time since picking up a thigh injury on international duty with Brazil on September 29. The Brazilian is pushing to make the trip to Seville but may be held back for Tuesday’s trip to PSG. Either way, Barca are not expected to take any risks with the Clásico coming up.

Frenkie de Jong is also back in training after his knee problem and could return to the squad, though not necessarily to the starting line-up. Pedri came off against Galatasaray with a stomach upset rather than an injury and should be available. Andreas Christensen (quad) and Bardghji (knee) remain out.

Gabriel Jesus is expected to continue up front if Raphinha isn’t ready to start.

Betis are without Junior Firpo, who injured his left adductor on international duty with the Dominican Republic. Aitor Ruibal is a doubt because of his fitness. Isco, Abde Ezzalzouli, Antony, Marc Roca and Nelson Deossa all came through the Porto game, although several have had a heavy workload.
