Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Saturday said the state’s focus on industry-oriented and world-class skill development is yielding tangible results, citing the recruitment of 11 students from Young India Skills University (YISU) by Microsoft.

Sharing the development on social media, the Chief Minister said the hiring of students from the university’s Data Centre Management course is a strong endorsement of the government’s skill development policy and the vision behind YISU.

Expressing satisfaction over the achievement, Revanth Reddy said the university is empowering youth with real-world skills and industry-ready training rather than relying solely on textbook-based education.

He said this is only the beginning, adding that YISU will introduce new B.Tech and B.Sc streams in the upcoming academic year. The Chief Minister also noted that the university’s permanent state-of-the-art campus at Bharat Future City is progressing rapidly.

Reiterating the government’s commitment to youth empowerment, he said the future of Telangana lies in the hands of its young people and that they have promising opportunities across diverse fields.
