Rocki Irish Mayers has made her magazine cover debut at just seven months, alongside her famous mum, Rihanna, 38. The Umbrella singer and businesswoman welcomed her daughter in September last year with partner A$AP Rocky, and the pair have now shared a glamorous and rather major milestone together.
The two appear on the cover of W Magazine’s latest issue, marking the infant’s first high-profile shoot. Titled ‘The Pop Issue’, the publication features a stunning shoot with the Barbadian singer along with stories from the mum-of-three’s friends, collaborators, and lovers including A$AP Rocky, SZA, Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige.
On the front cover, Rihanna is seen wearing a striking black coat styled as a dress, featuring a faux fur collar and a front slit revealing sheer tights. The look is paired with a bold purple statement hat, matching eye makeup, a red lip and statement jewellery.
However, it’s clear that baby Rocki steals the spotlight. Held comfortably in her mother’s arms, the seven-month-old is all delightful arm and wrist creases, with beautiful cheeks as she chews on her tiny fist, oblivious to the scene around her.
And while Rihanna wears a number of couture pieces for the shoot, Rocki is not to be outdone as she got decked out a Dior Haute Couture diaper and a headpiece that the designer Jonathan Anderson created just for her.
Rihanna first announced Rocki’s birth in a post shared on Instagram, alongside a photo of herself holding her newborn daughter dressed in pink. “Rocki Irish Mayers Sept 13 2025,” she wrote at the time.
Fans flooded the comments with messages of congratulations, with many celebrating the arrival of her first daughter after welcoming two sons with A$AP Rocky, named RZA, three, and Riot, two.
The magazine cover comes during a stressful time for Rihanna and her family, as the woman accused of heading to the nine-time Grammy Award-winning singer’s home in Beverly Hills, California, and opening fire with an AR15 assault rifle appears in court.
Ivanna Lisette Ortiz pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder of Rihanna. Prosecutors allege the singing superstar, her hip-hop star partner A$AP Rocky and their three young children were among the people assaulted at their home in the Beverly Hills area on March 8 when Ortiz, 35, pulled up to the property and sprayed about 20 bullets from an AR-15 style rifle into the tall exterior wall.
Ortiz, 35, is charged with 10 counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and three counts of shooting at an occupied vehicle or dwelling. She could get life in prison if convicted on all charges.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the shooting. Prosecutor, Deputy District Attorney Alexander Bott said, “This case involves a dangerous, deliberate shooting into occupied homes. This is the kind of conduct that could easily have resulted in multiple homicides.”
When Ortiz was arrested hours after the shooting, she was alone in her car with the rifle, more rounds and a wig she intended to use as a disguise, Bott said.
Public records show Ortiz has been a licensed speech pathologist for more than a decade. McGonigle ruled at the state attorney general’s request that she should be prevented from practising in California.
Neither side spoke to reporters outside the courthouse. District Attorney Nathan Hochman said when Ortiz was charged that Rihanna and Rocky were together in an Airstream trailer at the time of the shooting, while her mother, their children and staffers were in the main house.
