Now, this is how you celebrate America’s 250th birthday.

Rolling Stone just announced their inaugural Stateside Festival, which will take place Saturday, July 4 at Kingston, NY’s spacious Hutton Brickyards, which is just north of Poughkeepsie.

Headliners at this exciting Americana extravaganza include folk icon Noah Kahan, New Jersey native turned superstar Gigi Perez, sensitive singer-songwriter Sydney Rose, roots-y indie rockers Arcy Drive and up-and-coming troubadour Bo Staloch.

They’ll be joined by Devon Gilfillian, Derby, Calder Allen and Michaela Anne.

The nine aforementioned acts make up Stateside’s entire lineup. They will perform at Hutton Brickyards’ two stages over the long Independence Day jamboree.

There will also be local cuisine, an artisan market, a firework finale, extended weekend programming and on-property stays available for VIP and Platinum ticket purchasers.

If you’re curious about transit, Kingston is accessible by car, rideshare (limited), and train (Amtrak to Rhinecliff or Poughkeepsie, or Metro-North to Poughkeepsie).

Other notable attractions in town include the Trolley Museum of New York, Catskill Mountain Railroad, Forsyth Nature Center, Rondout Lighthouse and Kingston Point Beach.

2Foodtrippers recommend eating at LOLA Pizza, Lunch Nightly, The River Pavilion (conveniently located at Hutton Brickyards), Kingston Bread & Bar and Rough Draft Bar and Books in the area.

On top of the fest, Noah Kahan is also playing all over North America on his 2026 ‘Great Divide Tour’ in support of his recently-released fourth studio album from June through August with Gigi Perez. That includes a pair of New York City gigs. They’re slated to go down at:

Noah Kahan new music

On April 24, Noah Kahan released his fourth album “The Great Divide.”

Once again, the emotive warbler paints evocative pictures over soundscapes that take you to the forest if you close your eyes tight enough.

Highlights on the record include the the understated, twinkly album opener “End of August” (which takes its sweet time to build to an anthemic release), pulsing, yelp-y rocker “Doors,” twangy jam “American Cars,” Moldy Peaches-esque “Paid Time Off” that wouldn’t sound out of place on the “Juno” soundtrack and foot-stomping singalong “Deny Deny Deny.”

Still, our undisputed favorite has to be the title track.

The jangly tune — which Kahan performed at MSG in 2024 — starts small as he strums and paints a picture with clear-eyed lyrics like “I can’t recall the last time that we talked/About anything but looking out for cops before settling into a groove and delivering the bone-rattling chorus:

I hope you settlе down, I hope you marry rich
I hope you’re scarеd of only ordinary s—
Like murderers and ghosts and cancer on your skin
And not your soul and what He might do with it

This is spine-tingling folk-rock at its absolute best.

PS: Don’t clock out early. Otherwise you’ll miss the campfire beauty “All Them Horses” and stirring bluegrass epic “Dan.”

At all shows, Kahan will be joined by the 26-year-old Hackensack native.

Primarily known for mega singles “Sailor Song,” “Fable” and “Sometimes (Backwood),” we recommend digging deeper into her back catalog and check out her excellent 2023 EP “How To Catch A Falling Knife” and 2025 debut album “At the Beach, in Every Life” to get a closer look at the gifted singer-songwriter’s range.

Both the EP and album — along with singles she’s released over the years — can be found here.
