Saffery has unveiled plans to hire 144 trainees across its UK and Dublin offices in the 2026/27 financial year.
The UK accountancy practice said 107 trainees will begin in September 2026, followed by another 37 in January 2027.
The intake will include graduates, school leavers and apprentices.
The recruits will be based across Saffery’s ten UK and Dublin offices, joining teams in audit and assurance, tax, accounts and client payroll.
According to a statement, each of them will follow a “structured qualification pathway” that integrates professional study with practical experience.
Saffery HR director Rob Jarvis said: “We have had another strong year for trainee recruitment, reflecting our confidence and commitment to investing in the next generation of professionals.
“Many of our trainees go on to build long and successful careers with the firm, making early careers recruitment an important part of talent strategy.”
Saffery currently has 347 trainees working in accountancy, audit and tax qualifications.
Additionally, Saffery plans to maintain its early careers programmes for students considering professional services roles.
It has recruited 21 interns across its offices, while eight students will take part in six and 12-month placements during the next academic year.
The placements are aimed at penultimate-year university students, providing them with workplace experience, professional skills development and an opportunity to apply academic learning.
Interns and placement students will also participate in Saffery’s Kickstart Programme, a training and development course introduced this year.
The programme includes technical training, topics such as AI and core professional skills.
