Following a week off, Sam Houston begins a four-game stretch of non-Saturday games with a trip to Liberty for the Bearkats’ Conference USA opener.
The Thursday night game on ESPN’s family of networks will be followed by consecutive Wednesday home games and then a Tuesday road game.

The Bearkats (1-3) have suffered all three losses on the road this season. Liberty (4-1, 1-0) has won four in a row since dropping its season opener at James Madison, including last week’s CUSA opener at Delaware.
