In a conversation with Telly Masala, Sanchita Ugale’s father has made some shocking revelations about her last project. The actress’s father shared that she had been working for the show for over 30 days and had signed a contract for 100. However, within the first two weeks, she began feeling tortured, and her memory started to falter. He was quoted as saying:
“Usko aur ek accha mila serial, Saajan Ghar. Uska show chaalu ho gaya aur kuch 30-35 uskey shooting ho gaye the din ke, aur usko kuch 100 ka kuch sign kiya tha usney. 10-15 din ke baad usko thoda mehsoos honey laga ki udhar koi aadmi torture karne lagey hain. Uski memory hang karne lagi. Bas memory hang karke woh usko aur divide karey aur ‘ye kaam kaise nahi karegi’, ye thoda sochne ka unhoney planning kiya, ki isko kaam nahi aaiga. Jameyga hi nahi ye kaam, aaisa usko pressure daalna chalu kiya.”
Sanchita Ugale was working for 12-14 hours a day
In the same conversation, Sanchita Ugale’s father revealed that she had been working for 12 to 14 hours every single day. He explained that apart from the shoot, it would take her six hours to commute between the location and their residence. He further shared that Sanchita was not getting enough time to sleep, which had made her extremely irritable. However, he feels that’s what the makers of Saajan Ghar wanted, so she would quit. He was quoted as saying:
“Kaam 12 ghante ka tha, 12 se 14 ghante tak jaata tha, lekin idhar aane ke liye bhi 2-3 ghanta jaata tha, 2-3 ghanta aane ke liye, utna jaane ke liye, 6 ghanta ye ho gaya, aur udhar 12-14 ghanta. Matlab 17-18 ghanta woh kaam karney ka aur 2-4 ghanta ghar pe rehne ka, usko neend hi nahi mil rahi thi aur neend ki wajha se woh bohot pareshan thi. Aur chid chid ho rahi thi aur woh log bol rahe the isko neend aa rahi thi udhar. Toh neend toh aaigi hi na.”
Sanchita Ugale’s aunt recalls her father found her hanging
In a conversation with Telly Masala, Sanchita Ugale’s aunt revealed that her father found her hanging from the fan. She recalled that after lunch, the actress’s parents had gone out, but when they returned, they could not get her to open the door. However, initially, they just assumed she was asleep and, after a bit of struggle, finally entered the house. Unfortunately, when her father entered her room, he found her hanging from the fan.
