Sanchita Ugale’s Last Post Hours Before She Committed Suicide By Hanging Herself With Her Saree

In a shocking turn of events, actress, Sanchita Ugale was found dead in her Nalasopara residence. The news of Sanchita’s passing left her fans heartbroken as they couldn’t fathom the news of her untimely death. The police confirmed that the case appeared to be a suicide, and the actress allegedly hanged herself with her own saree.

Sanchita Ugale’s last post surfaces amid her untimely death

According to police officials, Sanchita was staying with her parents and sister in the Nalasopara area of Mumbai. She was alone at the time of the incident, and no suicide note was recovered from the scene. As the matter is currently under investigation, Sanchita’s last Instagram post surfaces. The late actress had posted a reel hours before committing suicide and looked happy as she grooved to the song, Dafli Waale. In the reel, Sanchita looked happiest, and no one could have guessed that the actress was under any sort of stress to take such an extreme step.

Sanchita Ugale once spoke about her long working hours in the industry

Sanchita Ugale hailed from a lower-middle-class family and had no support from her family. She used to lie about doing theatre and often told her parents that she was attending classes. In an interview with The Times of India, Sanchita revealed that she initially struggled to get into the industry, and that people often asked about her social media presence during her auditions.

But when she started getting roles in the industry, everything changed. She started getting back-to-back roles and was hardly left with any time to rest. She revealed how the long 17 to 18-hour daily shoot left her with no time for herself, so she hardly got any sleep or spent time with her family. Despite the struggle, she had no regrets, as she had chosen the field and was happy with the love and attention from her fans.

Sanchita Ugale’s professional achievements

Sanchita Ugale was known for her work in television and films. The 30-year-old gained recognition with shows like Sajan Ghar and Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi. She rose to prominence as ‘Diya Tandon’ in the popular Zee TV show Kumkum Bhagya. In many of her interviews, Sanchita credited her role in the show as a turning point in her life, bringing her recognition and fame.

Sanchita’s role as ‘Sukoon’ in Dangal TV’s Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi established her position as a versatile actress. She was also seen as ‘Ruchita Jaitley’ in Wagle Ki Duniya. Other than her stint in TV, Sanchita also featured in the film Chhaava, which starred Vicky Kaushal. In the film, Sanchita played the role of ‘Tarabai’.

Sanchita Ugale shared her grief after influencer, Misha Agarwal’s suicide

In 2025, when influencer Misha Agarwal reportedly ended her life fearing the failure of her career and following a drop in her Instagram followers, Sanchita reacted to the same. Taking to her IG handle, Sanchita expressed her concern over artists’ growing obsession with social media. Penning her emotions for Misha, Sanchita wrote:

“I’m heartbroken to learn the reason for her death. I feel the pain and suffering their parents must be dealing with! It’s heartbreaking to hear about influencers struggling with these pressures. I never get into this.”
