As LIV Golf has teetered on the precipice of disaster with the Saudi financial backing coming to a premature end after the 2026 season, rumors have been running rampant about the tour’s star players fleeing back to the PGA Tour.

The most concerning of those potential departures is Bryson DeChambeau, without question LIV’s biggest asset. DeChambeau’s contract with LIV is up after 2026.

Scott O’Neil, the CEO of LIV, told The Post on Wednesday, in no uncertain terms, he expects DeChambeau to remain with LIV long term — however long that may be.

“What I can tell you about Bryson is, in my 34 years in sports, I’ve never met an athlete this purely focused on growing his brand in an authentic way,’’ O’Neil said. “He lives it. There’s nobody more focused on LIV, including yours truly, than Bryson. He’s riffing on business plans, working his network, driving creative ideas.
