After a three-year hiatus, Shah Rukh Khan is set to return to the silver screen with his upcoming film, King. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026. The initial movie posters have already garnered a positive response from all quarters.

According to the latest reports, Pen Marudhar has acquired the distribution rights for King for a significant sum. The company reportedly secured the all-India distribution rights for a whopping Rs 250 crore. Reports suggest that the distributor shares a long-standing association with Khan’s production banner, having previously released films such as Jawan, Dunki, Zero, Badla, and Ittefaq.

King features an impressive ensemble cast, including Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma, and Raghav Juyal.

Produced on a budget of Rs 400 crore, King marks the second collaboration between SRK and Siddharth Anand following the success of Pathaan.
