A-list actress Sharon Stone made a surprise return to the runway as she took to the catwalk during the swelteringly hot Paris Fashion Week for the first time in more than three decades.
The Basic Instinct actress, 68, was among the stars appearing in Vetements’ spring/summer 2027 menswear show, striding down the runway in a striking monochrome outfit.
Sharon wore an oversized white blazer layered over a black shirt, teamed with a white tie and dramatic thigh-high leather boots. She completed the look with her blonde bob slicked back, and bold burgundy lipstick as she made her long-awaited fashion week comeback.
While many know Sharon for her glittering Hollywood career, she first found success as a model before becoming one of the biggest film stars of the 1990s.
Her last major runway appearance came in 1993, when she closed Valentino’s Paris Fashion Week show wearing a bridal-inspired mini dress complete with a lace top hat and flowing veil.
Although she stepped away from the catwalk to focus on acting, fashion has remained a significant part of her career. Speaking to Business Insider last year, Sharon revealed modelling continues to be one of her biggest sources of income.
She said: “I’m still modelling, and I still make more money today modelling than in film. It’s still a huge part of my reality.”
The actress shot to international fame as Catherine Tramell in the 1992 thriller Basic Instinct before earning an Oscar nomination and Golden Globe success for her performance in Martin Scorsese’s Casino.
In recent years, Sharon has balanced acting with a successful career as an artist, with her paintings attracting growing attention, while continuing to work with major fashion brands.
Her appearance at Paris Fashion Week proved she has lost none of the confidence that first made her a modelling star, with fans praising her elegant return to the runway more than 30 years after her last fashion show.
