Amid the renewed discussion on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay’s personal life after his wife Sangeetha withdrew the divorce case, veteran actress Kutty Padmini’s remarks about Vijay, Sangeetha and Trisha have also gone viral.
Speaking to a Tamil YouTube channel, Padmini questioned why Trisha was being blamed for problems in Vijay and Sangeetha’s marriage.
“As far as I know, they have been separated for years. After that, Vijay and Trisha did a movie again. But no one knows whether it will continue or not,” she said.
She also defended Trisha against the speculation surrounding her.
“Trisha is a good person. Trisha is in big controversies today. But that girl is not like that. She is very good,” Kutty Padmini said, adding that she had known the actor since her childhood and that Trisha was a close friend of her elder daughter.
At the same time, she said that being involved with a married person would be wrong, but stressed that such a situation could not be attributed to just one person.
“I would say that if someone loves a married man, it is wrong. But only one person cannot make that mistake. Two people have to do it together. But I don’t know what the problem is there. Maybe it is because they live separately,” she said.
Kutty Padmini also said she did not want to comment extensively on Trisha’s personal life, noting that she had no right to do so.
The actress had previously claimed that Trisha had a crush on Vijay during the early stages of her career.
