In a statement shared through Shirlene’s Instagram handle, her agency wrote:

Meme Agency disclosed that Shirlene King Pearson had a stroke
A few days after Shirlene King Pearson’s hospitalisation, another statement was shared by Meme Agency through her Instagram account on May 10, 2022. The agency wrote that Shirlene is thankful to her fans for their prayers and wants everyone to know that she is ready to return home while she continues to fight her health issue. Meme Agency opened up on other details related to the hospitalisation and added:
“We are thankful to announce Ms Juicy has been moved out the ICU, however there is a new journey ahead of her for healing. We can confirm that Ms Juicy did suffer a stroke. As many of you know, Ms Juicy is an amazing actress, tv personality, and host, however, this journey and the journey ahead will not be easy.”
Shirlene confirmed with a video on May 28, 2022, that she has been released from the hospital. However, she also stated that she has not fully recovered from her health issues. Shirlene’s sister, Tanya Evans, launched a GoFundMe page to cover the medical bills. Tanya later shared an update on the page about Shirlene’s return home. The page accumulated funds of more than USD 19,000 by the time Tanya posted the update.
