For those who do not know, in the latest episode of Lock Upp Season 2, Shreya Kalra was seen having a conversation with her co-contestant, Sufi Motiwala. During the same, she expressed her wish to reveal one of Akanksha Chamola’s ‘secret’; however, she wasn’t confident in sharing it. When Sufi explained the game to her, Shreya Kalra revealed that Gaurav Khanna’s wife is ‘bisexual’.
The statement immediately grabbed attention, both inside and outside the show. Netizens soon took to their social media handles to lash out at Shreya Kalra for revealing such personal information. Soon after the hatred for Shreya Kalra intensified on social media, her rumoured boyfriend, Rishabh Jaiswal, who is well-known for his appearance on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain, shared a video clip, in which he defended Shreya. For the unversed, the video clip was shared a few hours ago.
In the clip, Rishabh stated that Shreya Kalra did not do anything wrong. In fact, whatever she did was a part of the game. As per him, all the contestants were asked to submit three secrets to the creative team, which can be revealed at any time in the show. Rishabh Jaiswal was quoted as saying:
“Log keh rahe hai ki Shreya ne Akanksha Chamola ka secret reveal kar diya that she is bisexual. Uska haq nahi hai to talk about sexuality. Mujhe internal baat pata hai ki jitne contestant gaye hai, unhone apne 3 secret khud creative team to bataye hai aur wo as a lifeline use honge. Toh agar Shreya ne uska secret bata diya toh its a part of the game, usne koi moral preferences hamper nahi kiya hai. Akanksha ne khud wo bataya hai makers ko, Shreya ko. Jo log judge kar rahe ho, please open your brain.”

Rishabh’s video instantly went viral and fans shared the same on multiple social media platforms. One user commented, “It’s wrong. I support Shreya but we cannot do this.” Another user wrote, “She did this out of spite..no way u can defend her..just because she didn’t save her and she also called chamola spineless.. it’s also Chamola’s fault why she trusted her so early when your 1st lifeline is already used.” A third user shared, “The problem is she did it out of pettiness. It would have been ‘part of the game’ if she did it to gain an advantage or be safe.”
