Sahil revealed that he kept it a secret from their parents because he didn’t feel it would pose any trouble for Siya’s marriage to Ketan Agarwal. Siya allegedly told her brother that she liked Chetan’s company and was close to him; however, she wasn’t sure if what she felt for him was love or just deep friendship. According to Sahil, she even assured him that nothing was brewing between her and Chetan. Siya’s brother stated:
“Siya told me that she wanted to spend her life with Ketan and didn’t want anything to do with Chetan. She assured me that there was nothing between them. From the songs to the shoot location, they would discuss it all. His exact words were:
“She spent hours planning her pre-wedding photoshoot with Ketan. She picked her favourite songs and locations for the shoot. She would discuss all this with Ketan for hours on video calls.”
Siya, who seemed so excited for her pre-wedding shoot, later allegedly went to great lengths to cancel it. According to reports, she was reluctant to go on the trip to Bali, and Sahil forced her into the car. During the stop for tea and snacks, she stole Ketan’s passport, went to the ladies’ washroom, and dumped it in a trash can, leading to the cancellation of the trip. She then insisted on going to Lohagad Fort, and there, her lover, Chetan, allegedly pushed Ketan to his death.
