VISAKHAPATNAM: South Coast Railway has cancelled 53 trains as a precautionary measure in view of Cyclone Arnab, which is expected to affect the Andhra Pradesh coast from October 27 to 29.
Trains operating between Visakhapatnam and Guntur and connecting Vijayawada, Machilipatnam,
Gudivada, Bhimavaram, Nidadavolu, Narasapur, Tenali, Kakinada and Repalle have been cancelled.
In a release issued on Monday, railway officials advised passengers to check train status and cancellation details with railway enquiry services before commencing their journeys.
