Mel C opens up about her wedding which featured an amazing Spice Girls reunion late in the night – except two key members missed out

The Spice Girls have reunited on stage….at Mel C’s wedding.
Mel – who the Mirror revealed tied the knot with model Chris Dingwall in Cumbria last month – said that she was joined by Mel B and Emma Bunton for a rendition of the band’s hit Spice Up Your Life.
However the 52-year-old joked it was a bit late for Geri Horner, who had left at that point.
Mel says of that night’s entertainment : “I got them up at one point…I have this little mash-up that I play in my set. We did play a little bit of Spice Up Your Life, and Geri had left at this point, it was a bit late in the night for our Geri, but me, Mel and Emma went up and had a bit of a boogie.”
Mel – who wore a Victoria Beckham dress in honour of her bandmate who was tied up in the US with David – also revealed to Gaydio at Brighton Pride that their other hit Two Became One “did feature in the proceedings…that’s all I am saying.”
It was the star’s second wedding after a legal ceremony in her husband’s native Australia. They got engaged on holiday in Mallorca last July. Mel previously said that she had not expected to tie the knot. She said: “I wasn’t a girl who grew up dreaming about her dress. I was always just focused on my career – I think even relationships took a backseat for me because I’ve been so driven to do what I love, which is performing. I’d gotten to the point in my life where I just didn’t think it was going to be a part of my story.”
Mel said how Chris had a “very calming energy”, and described him as a beautiful addition to her life with daughter Scarlett, 17, who she shares with ex Thomas Starr.
Talking about the first ceremony, bandmate Victoria Beckham said: “She mentioned she had actually ordered one of my dresses but that it didn’t quite fit, and she didn’t have time to get it altered before leaving.
“I happened to have that exact dress in my own wardrobe and offered to lend it to her.”
